Betopper Launches LB300: 300W LED Beam Moving Head for Lighting Pros & Live Events

Introduction

A beam moving head has one core duty: delivering a sharp, ultra-focused beam through the air. But a real production rarely asks for only that. You want the beam to split, to carry color, to land as a pattern on a backdrop, and sometimes to go soft. You may also want to program the whole show before the fixture ever reaches the venue.

That is the design philosophy behind the Betopper LB300—a new 300W LED beam moving head built around a 2.1° ultra-narrow beam and expanded with a dual-prism system, RGB halo ring, motorized focus, gobo wheel, linear prism, and frost filter. It is also designed for the practical demands of production. A portable power bank can power the LB300 for pre-programming and saving lighting shows before mains power is connected, while 3-pin and 5-pin DMX connections and a versatile mounting design make it easier to integrate the fixture into a wide range of lighting rigs.

1. A Sharp 2.1° Beam Built for Aerial Effects

The LB300 is built around a 2.1° ultra-narrow beam designed to produce a tight, defined beam that remains visually distinct in the air.

In haze or fog, the narrow beam shows up as a sharp line of light in the air, and with several fixtures it can form parallel lines or crossed beams. This makes it particularly useful for concerts, clubs, DJ productions, and other applications where the beam itself is part of the visual design.

2. Dual Prism: Layer and Combine Beam Patterns

The LB300’s 8+48 prism system gives you more ways to shape it, with four ways to use the two prisms:

Independent operation, using either prism on its own
Overlapping effects, with both prisms stacked on the beam
Synchronized rotation, with both prisms turning in the same direction
Counter-rotation, with the prisms turning in opposite directions

Combining the linear prism with frost transforms the beam into a wider, softer, and more diffused effect, adding another way to vary its shape and visual depth. These flexible combinations give you a wider variety of dynamic and atmospheric looks for different performances.

3. Motorized Focus, Color & Gobo: Define the Beam and Add Pattern

A beam doesn’t always have to stay an open shaft of light. The LB300 adds a 14-color + white color wheel and a 14-gobo + white fixed gobo wheel, so you can change the color of the beam or project a pattern onto a wall, floor, or backdrop, then switch back to white for a clean open beam.

Motorized focus ties it together. You can adjust beam definition remotely, which keeps gobo patterns sharp at different throw distances and lets focus changes be programmed into your show instead of requiring hands-on adjustment.

4.RGB Halo Ring: Add a Second Layer of Light

A beam moving head doesn't have to rely on the beam itself for every visual moment. The LB300 adds a separate RGB halo ring around the main lens, giving lighting designers another layer to work with.

The halo can introduce color while the main beam remains focused, creating a visual contrast between the center of the fixture and the light surrounding it. This means you can change the appearance of the fixture without necessarily changing the beam itself.

For example, you can use a white beam with a blue halo, a colored beam with a contrasting halo, or a slower halo transition around a relatively static beam. The halo can also be used for gradient, chase, and breathing-style effects to add movement even when the main beam is holding its position.

5.Built for Real-World Production

The LB300 is designed not only around what happens on stage, but also around how lighting crews prepare and install their equipment.
Pre-Program with a Portable Power Bank
A portable power bank can power the LB300 for pre-programming and saving lighting shows before mains power is connected.
This allows lighting teams to prepare show configurations before the complete rig is powered at the venue, which can be useful for mobile productions and rental workflows.
3-Pin & 5-Pin DMX
The LB300 provides both 3-pin and 5-pin DMX input and output connections, giving users more flexibility when integrating the fixture into existing DMX systems.
Flexible Clamp Compatibility
The LB300's mounting design is compatible with various types of lighting clamps, allowing users to select suitable mounting hardware for different truss and installation configurations.

Built for Professional Stage Productions

With its tight beam, flexible effects, and production-friendly features, the LB300 is designed to support a wide range of professional applications.

For concerts and touring productions, the 2.1° beam, dual prisms, and RGB halo ring deliver strong aerial looks and stage presence from a single fixture type. For lighting designers, the color wheel, gobo wheel, and motorized focus allow the beam to carry color and sharp projected patterns, adding texture and variety to a lighting design. In live event production, from theaters and touring shows to permanent entertainment venues, the LB300 adds defined aerial effects that give the stage depth and movement. And for rental companies, power-bank pre-programming and 3-pin and 5-pin DMX connections help crews prepare shows in advance and connect to different rigs from one job to the next.
